To provide a local corrosion protection device that can be easily attached to and detached from corroded portions of bridge steel materials without installing large scaffolds when performing local repair work on bridge steel materials, and which can completely seal a blast area; and to provide a spot reforming method, which is a method of locally repairing steel materials of a bridge performed using the local corrosion protection device.SOLUTION: A local corrosion protection device comprises: a box-shaped housing having an opening surface with an open face; an air supply opening on an outer peripheral surface of the housing other than the opening surface; an arm insertion opening; a blast hose insertion opening; an observation window; and a vacuum hose end connection. A corrosion site on the surface of a steel material is sealed by attaching the opening surface to it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
