Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use this system by combining time-division multiplexing with frequency division multiplexing by communicating burst information in a partial response configuration with zero energy in response to a zero value input, and receiving continuous information in a partial response AM-PSK configuration by each modulator means. CONSTITUTION: In communication between a remote node and a central controller, three level class four partial response modulation applies one bit/Hz efficiency, and indicates power spectrum density with zero energy in response to a zero input regardless of the differential encode of a previous state. Partial response coding in this type is characterized by zero energy in D.C. On the contrary, communication between a central controller (head end) and any one of target nodes through a second communication channel is operated by three level class one partial correspondence AM-PSK modulated on a carrier optimized for continuous operations. Thus, time division multiplexing and frequency division multiplexing can be combined for usage.
