The locking claw replacing jig 1 is composed of a fixing plate part 1a fixed to an upper face of a modular plug by being knocked against a base end part of the locking claw of the modular plug, an elastic locking part 1b having a width nearly the same as that of the base end part of the locking claw folded backward in sharp angles in an obliquely upward trend at the top end of the fixing plate part 1a, and an operation plate part 1c having a width nearly the same as that of a tip part of the locking claw 3c formed so as to protrude further backward from the elastic locking plate part 1b.
