Abstract:
To provide an electronic controlled lockout system for beds in a hospital.
The bed is composed of a base frame, a beck supporting a body connected to the base frame, a peer-to-peer communication network having a number of connecting points and a number of modules 1014, 1015, 1015, 1020, 1022, 1024, 1026, 1028, 1030. Each module has electrical connection with the selected connecting point. These modules can carry out their specific functions during an operation of the bed. These modules can be communicated with the selected other modules through the peer-to-peer communication network.
