Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve strength of a resin-made cover and enable the manufacture of the cover with the same mold even in the case where the cloth width varys depending on kind of weaving machine.
CONSTITUTION: The loom cover 14 is produced by extrusion molding from a transparent resin material into a shape which has a side view of a specific cross section and is continuous in the cloth width direction. Here, the cross section is U-shaped and a clamping member 15 consisting of fixing protrusions 16a, 16a are integrally molded on the inside surface of the opening side continuously in the width direction of cloth. The cover is attached on a tubular bar member 13 placed on the loom body as a fixing member extending in the direction of cloth width in detachable and swingable manner. Further, a protruding handle 18 continuously extending in the direction of cloth width is integrally molded on the outside surface of the cover.
