Abstract:
To provide a loom for forming cloth edges, decreasing weaving errors in weaving weft and forming normal cloth edges even when a harder yarn is used.
The loom has a device for weaving one or more weft ends 2'a to form a cloth edge 10 and a shed forming device for forming a shed 14 having a shed apex 14a. The device for weaving one or more weft ends 2'a has an air cutter 4 set at the outside of a cloth width 12 and at least one additional blow nozzle 6 set in the cloth width 12 and the jet direction 6a of the nozzle 6 is directed to the shed apex 14a so as to blow the weft end 2'a into the shed apex.
