Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a looped cord which effectively utilizes the characteristics of a braid tissue, and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: This looped cord having the braid tissue, characterized by forming the end portion 3 of a cord main body 1 comprising a fiber aggregate in the form of the braid tissue, disposing cord end-inserting holes 7a, 7b and 7c for penetrating the turned end portion 4 of the cord into the braid tissue in the cord end portion 3, in the cord end portion 3 comprising the braid tissue, and sequentially passing the turned end portion 4 of the cord into the plural insertion holes, thereby holding the end portion 3 of the cord with the braid tissue to form the loop.
