Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sweetener in the form of e.g. gum syrup, comprising a sweetener with high sweetness such as stevia and water, having a specific viscosity, readily compatible with foods, and capable of retaining its sweetness over a long period.
SOLUTION: This sweetener with a viscosity of 0.1-20 (pref. 0.1-10) cps comprises (A) a sweetener with high sweetness such as stevia, aspartame or Monomordica grosvenoir extract and (B) water, being readily compatible with chilled beverages such as iced coffee and other foods.
