Abstract:
To provide a magnet chuck capable of applying as much magnetic attraction force as possible to a workpiece and detecting a piston position and an operation state such as presence or absence of a workpiece with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A magnet chuck 10 includes a cylindrical permanent magnet 42 and a piston assembly 14 including a core yoke 40, provided inside a cylinder tube 12 so as to be movable. The permanent magnet 42 is provided on an outer periphery of the core yoke 40 and is magnetized in a radial direction. A magnetic sensor is attached to a side surface of the cylinder tube 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
