Title:
MAGNETIC CYLINDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS576152
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow to have large degree of freedom for setting stroke and keep retaining force constant through whole moving stroke, by arranging magnets cylindrically, which should be installed on the cylinder wall side, on both sides of reciprocating moving direction. CONSTITUTION:Piston rod 1 is made up of swelling 1A to move freely only along direction of the axis and cylindrical rotor 1B fitted to rotate freely and relatively under the condition to move with the swelling in a body, magnet 5 is installed to cylindrical rotor 1B in a body. Magnets 2, 3 on cylinder wall 4 side are installed on the inner surface of cylinder 8 in a body, cover 7, 8 are fixed to the both ends of cylinder 6. Furthermore, transmission shaft 9 inserted to turn freely in cover 7 is built in cylindrical rotor 1B, fitted to move relatively rotor 1B along direction of the axis and rotate circumferentially in a body with key 10.
