PURPOSE: To prevent leak of magnetic flux from both side surfaces of an amorphous core, and to improve heat radiation by covering both side surfaces of the amorphous core with a pair of side plates made of high conductive material, and by winding a coil around the core from above the amorphous core as well as the side plates.
CONSTITUTION: The both side surfaces of an amorphous core 1 of a magnetic switch are sandwiched by side plates 2A, 2B made of high conductive material such as aluminum or copper, having the same flat shape, to shield leak of magnetic flux from the end surface or to promote heat radiation. Coils 3, 4 are wound around the core 1 in the sandwiched structure of the core 1 as well as the side surfaces 2A, 2B, and a set coil is wound further to form the magnetic switch.
