The management device manages a game machine which comprises: a reader 28 for reading identification information stored in the IC tag 11 provided at a key 9 on condition that the key 9 provided with the IC tag 11 storing the identification information is inserted to the key hole 10 of a locking apparatus 40; a decision means for collating the identification information read by the reader with previously registered identification information for decision to decide whether it is proper identification information; and a transmission means 32 for transmitting decision result information when the decision result of the decision means is not proper. The management device comprises: a reception means 33 for receiving the decision result information transmitted from the game machine; an announcement means 31a for performing prescribed announcement; and an announcement control means for performing announcement control by driving the means 31a when receiving the decision result information by the reception means.
