Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely form an accurate molded article with simple methods by applying pressure being higher than filling pressure to resin within a mold via non-compressive medium by pressure means being connected to a resin supplying hole or an exhaust hole not being closed and having a pressure surface with a relative stall area.
CONSTITUTION: After the completion of supplying resin 5 into a mold 1, either one of a resin supplying hole 2 or an exhaust hole 3 is closed. To the resin supply hole 2 or exhaust hole not being closed, a second pressure means 6 is connected and by applying forces onto the second pressure means, pressure is exerted on the resin 5 supplied herein. The second pressure means 6 has a pressure surface with a sufficiently small cross-sectional area in comparison with a pressure means 4 for supplying resin and as pressure medium, non- compressive medium such as liquid is employed which is inactive relative to previously supplied resin or resin. Through this structure, high pressure can be applied to resin 5 within a mold 1 by small forces. After applying pressure to polymeric resin within the mold, the mold or polymeric resin in the mold is polymerized by heating.
