Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacture of an acrylic plate having therein a natural flower material, capable of simply obtaining a curved or folded beautiful acrylic product in a few steps without detriment to the natural flower material contained in the acrylic product.
SOLUTION: In manufacturing an acrylic plate 90 having therein a natural flower material, a decorative sheet 50 is first formed by sticking natural flower materials 40 on a surface of paper or cloth 20 with an adhesive 30 after the paper or the cloth 20, each being composed of a synthetic fiber, is cut in suitable size. Then, after housing the decorative sheet 50 in the interior of a mold 60 having a plane cavity, the cavity is packed with an acrylic solution 70. After the acrylic solution 70 is hardened, it is taken out of the mold 60 to obtain a plane acrylic plate 80 having therein the decorative sheet 50. Further, the plane acrylic plate 80 is heated to be softened, and the folding machining of the acrylic plate 80 is executed.
