PURPOSE: To obtain the base plate for photo disk having no possibility of generating abnormal unevenness on its surface during manufacture and also during recording after manufacture by curing preliminarily a photo curing resin by weak ultraviolet ray first and then after curing, by relatively strong ultraviolet ray.
CONSTITUTION: A photo curing resin 2-1 of acryl or methacryl family is arranged in between a stamper 11 and a transparent base plate 3. The photo curing resin 2-1 is preliminarily cured by the ultraviolet ray 4 with 1W80mW/cm2 beam intensity in the wave length range of 320W400nm, and next, said resin is subjected to after-curing by the ultraviolet ray 4 with 80W400mW/cm2 beam intensity in the wave length range of 320W400nm. Then the stamper 1 is stripped off, whereby a replica plate A may by obtained. The resin 2-1 photo cured by only the high intensity ultraviolet ray 4 for after-curing, has large internal stress therein and causes the disorder on the replica surface before and after recording processes.
