PURPOSE: To obtain a board for an optical recording medium whose warp is little, by constituting the title method so that a base film to both sides of which ultraviolet- curing resin is applied is put between a stamper and impression drum containing an ultraviolet lamp and simultaneously with molding the base film is cured.
CONSTITUTION: The vicinity of the tip of a stamper 5 is positioned to a position of an impression drum 6, a base film 1 to which ultraviolet curing resin is applied is put between the stamper 5 and impression drum 6 and an uneven pattern of the stamper 5 is transferred to the resin while pressing with the stamper 5 and impression drum 6. In this instance, the ultraviolet curing resin in cured by an ultraviolet lamp in the impression drum 6. The stamper 5 is moved until an end of a reflection side of the same is positioned to the impression drum 6, the uneven pattern of a sheet of the stamper 5 is transferred and the stamper 5 is separated from the transferred base film 1. Then the ultraviolet curing resin is cured completely by applying ultraviolet rays whose strength is great to the resin by making use of the ultraviolet lamp 8. With this construction, a board for an optical recording medium which warps little and has little molding irregularity and favorable transfer properties of the pattern can be manufactured with favorable productivity.
