PURPOSE: To greatly improve the production efficiency of a brake hose by fixing the body of a hose which is formed into predetermined shape in a straightly extended state and by advancing a push rod so that a check valve is inserted to a predetermined location within said body.

CONSTITUTION: An upper cover 30 is closed, while the body 12 of a hose is being extended straight, whereby the body 12 is held in a circular hole which is defined by a base 26 and the cover 30. Then an operation arm 48 is turned downwardly to lock the cover 30 at a closed position. Thereafter, a check valve 14 is supplied from a supply port 36 of a support base 33 and an operation handle 58 is turned to actuate a cylinder 22 so that a push rod 20 is advanced, thereupon the check valve 14 supported on the support base 33 is forced into the body 12 under the action of the push rod 20. By drawing the push rod 20 to its right and actuating an operation lever 50 of a locking device 18, the upper cover 30 is unlocked and then opened to allow a hose 10 to be taken out from a fixing device 16.
