Title:
MANUFACTURE OF CERAMIC WITH PORES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2500138
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain ceramic having desirous pores without performing maching after firing by a method wherein after a plurality of split molded bodies forming desirous pores by combining them with each other are molded separately they are fired by joining them integrally to each other by static water pressure molding.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of manufacturing, a desirous quantity of ceramic power raw materials 3 is put into a mold constituted of both of a top and bottom punches 1, 4 into which divided forms of desirous pores are arranged, mold press molding is performed and a ceramic divided molded bodies 5 are obtained. Two split molded bodies 5 are registered and their outer surfaces are sealed up tightly by coating them with latex rubber 6. Continuously, the split molded bodies 5 are integrated by applying pressure to them by static water pressure molding and integrated ceramic composite molded body 7 is obtained. Then the composite molded body 7 is fired by an electric furnace and ceramic sintered body with pores is completed With this construction, ceramic having pores which are extremely fine and has free depths and forms is manufactured with out performing maching after firing.
