PURPOSE: To reduce the extent of working manhours by sintering snf forming plural pieces of split materials in the axial direction of a block, melting a brazing material in a state of being positioned with one another, and brazing them as sealing the surface.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block material 83 is made up of bonding three split materials 84, 85 and 86 divided in the axial direction of a cylinder block B as one body, and respective split materials are sintered and formed. At the time of sintering and forming, some holes required as the cylinder block B are formed at the same time. These split materials 84, 85 and 86 like that are sintered and processed after mounting brazing materials 93a, 93b consisting of a copper alloy between split surfaces in a state of settling a circumferential relative position with a knock pin, and then a cylinder block material 83 is formed up as performing a job for sealing to the surface. Therefore, the number of drilling manhours required for this block material 83 is reducible, and a molding is able to secure a high degree of oiltightness, thus such a cylinder block B as resistible to high hydraulic pressure is securable.
