Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide superior workability when a ferritic stainless steel sheet contg. Al is manufactured, by preheating a material to be rolled at a specified temp. for a specified time during or after cold rolling and by carrying out finish annealing.
CONSTITUTION: A ferritic stainless steel contg. 0.08W0.5% Al is hot rolled, coiled at ≤700°C, cold rolled without passing through an annealing stage, and subjected to finish annealing to manufacture a ferritic stainless steel sheet. At this time, the material to be rolled is preheated at 450W650°C for 10secW10 min during or after the cold rolling and then the finish annealing is carried out. Thus, the yield point is lowered to improve the workability.
