To suppress a decrease in an adhesive force after heat aging and fuel dipping by plasma treating a surface of a fluororesin tubular inner layer, then water treating its outer peripheral surface layer, and then laminating a thermoplastic resin outer layer on an outer periphery of the outer surface layer, thereby improving the forces of the inner and outer layers.
A surface of a fluororesin tubular inner layer 1 is plasma treated, and then its outer peripheral surface layer is water treated to laminate to form a thermoplastic resin outer layer 2 on its outer periphery. The method for manufacturing a fuel hose comprises the steps of extruding a fluororesin by an inner layer extrusion molding machine 3, forming a fluororesin tubular inner layer 1, introducing it into a reaction chamber 6 in a reduced pressure plasma treating unit 5, and plasma treating it in a plasma treating zone between electrodes 9a. Then, the method further comprises the steps of introducing it into a treating tank 12, dripping water from a nozzle 12a, introducing it into a treating tank 13, and drying to remove excess water by an air blowing unit 13a. The method further comprises the steps of extruding the resin by an outer layer extrusion molding machine 14, and laminating the layer 2 on an outer periphery of the layer 1.
