To eliminate the need for a separator for an adhesive layer cover and to save resources by adhering an adhesive layer to the back of its transparent base material and rolling it, printing the adhesive layer surface of a label sheet part unwound from a winding body in ink, and cutting it to specific length.
Through an unwinding mechanism 6, the label sheet 3 having the adhesive layer 2 on one surface of the transparent base material 1 is unwound from its winding body 31 and guided in a printing mechanism part 5. Then information 56 consisting of the ink is printed on the adhesive surface 2 of the unwound label sheet part on the basis of the print data and then the label sheet is put in a following cutting mechanism 7 and cut to the specific size, thus forming labels 32 successively. This method gives the ink information 56 to the adhesive layer 2 provided on the transparent base material 1, so the ink information 56 is covered and protected with the transparent base material 1 through the adhesive layer 2. Therefore, the need for the separator for the adhesive cover which becomes an unnecessary body such as rubbish when the label is used is eliminated.
