PURPOSE: To reduce unit price and to enhance work efficiency by forming a stamper with the use of a master having a record forming surface of a prescribed pattern on the upper face and then working an unfinished disk having a recording surface on one face.

CONSTITUTION: First, a metallic paste agent is vapor-deposited on the upper face of a master 20 having a record forming surface 21 for forming the recording face of a prescribed pattern, so that a record forming surface 31 is formed for the purpose of injection molding an unfinished disk 10. Then, the unfinished disk 10 is injection molded using a stamper 30 using the record forming surface 31. Under the circumstances, a label layer 12 used also for reflection is vapor- deposited and formed in a prescribed pattern; a reflection film reflecting a laser beam scanned by an optical pickup device is formed on the upper face of the recording surface 11 of the disk 10, on which no such label layer 12 is formed.
