Abstract:
To provide the optical film chip intermediate which is superior in beveling efficiency and operability.
A 1st beltlike film 1 is cut in a 1st reference direction SD1 slanting at an angle θ to the axial direction SD0 and also cut in a 2nd reference direction SD2 perpendicular to the 1st reference direction SD1. Consequently, a 2nd beltlike film 2 in a trapezoidal shape which has a couple of opposite sides parallel to the 1st reference direction SD1 and a leg (side) parallel to the 2nd reference direction SD2 is obtained as the optical film chip intermediate.
