Title:
MANUFACTURE OF PLURAL SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6471009
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to form plural long size superconductive wires efficiently at a time by feeding a ceramics type superconductive substance continuously in grooves which are furnished on the upper side of a long size metal plate, over which superposing and connecting another metal plate integrally in rolling.

CONSTITUTION: A ceramics type superconductive substance 1 is cut off at a constant amount by a feeding device 8 in grooves 10 which are furnished on an outer cover 9. The positioning angle of the outer cover 9 will do when it is less than the reposing angle of the superconductive substance 1. As the feeding device 8, an ordinary screw feeder 13 or the like can be used when can cut off at a constant amount. The grooves of the outer cover 9 may be formed by delivering a metal plate while groove-processing the flat metal plate with a rolling roller with projections. An outer cover 11 on the other side can be used either furnishing no groove or furnishing grooves processed beforehand responding to the outer cover 9. And the connection of the outer covers 9 and 11 can be made effectively not only by connecting with a roller 12 for rolling, but also by a high-frequency welding or a laser welding. A heat treatment is applied to plural wire materials with superconductive substance composed in such a way. As a result, a long size coil in which a superconductive substance is arranged in same intervals can be formed at a high efficiency and continuously.
