PURPOSE: To obtain effectively the receiving port of a composite pipe without the tendency of the peeling of a synthetic resin layer by a method in which a peel-correcting jig is inserted into diameter-expanded part, and the synthetic resin layer and the inner peripheral surface of an outer pipe in the diameter- expanded part are kept in the state of close contact, and after the peel- correcting jig has been removed, a peel-preventing member is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the synthetic resin layer in the diameter-expanded part.
CONSTITUTION: The peel-correcting jig 40 with convergent shape is inserted into diameter-expanded part from the aperture-end of the diameter-expanded part of a composite pipe 10. The outer surface of the peel-correcting jig 40 is pushed onto the synthetic resin layer 13 in the diameter-expanded part, whereby the peeled synthetic resin layer 13 is expanded and is kept in said state for prescribed time. Next, the peel-correcting jig 40 having been kept in each diameter part for prescribed time is retracted from the diameter-expanded part. Then, in order to prevent the synthetic resin layer 13 from being peeled from the inner peripheral surface of a metallic tube 11 keeping or using, a cylindrical peel-preventing member 14 is fitted to the diameter-expanded part.
