Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method wherein a required pattern like electrodeposited layer (for a preformat pattern or for a recording layer) which is preliminarily independently formed can be excellently formed by transfer on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: An electrodeposited layer 8 is formed on an electroconductive part of a pattern original plate 7. A material 10 for a recording medium substrate is charged into a molding mold wherein a surface to which the electrodeposited layer is formed is taken as at least one surface thereof. A process wherein the material is compression molded or injection molded, etc., is provided.
