CONSTITUTION: While the father stamper 2 made from the glass materix 1 with fine pattern by electroforming, is used, the fine pattern of the father stamper is transferred onto the base composed of resin material, whereby a mother stamper 3 is made. A metallic conductive film 8 is formed on the fine pattern of the mother stamper 3, and on said metallic conductive film 8, a metallic base is formed by electroforming, and then by tearing off said materials from the mother stamper, the stamper 4 for information-recording medium may be obtained. In the stamper for making a number of the base, a plurality of the father stampers 2 are stuck onto the erection holder 10 for the father stamper preliminarily provided with the groove equal to the total thickness of the father stamper and the connected layer through a connecting layer 9. By using the stamper for making a number of the bases, a plurality of the bases for information-recording medium may be produced at one time.
