PURPOSE: To enable reproduction of a high-quality optical disc by preventing missing of a pit, by a method wherein at the time of peeling of a mother and the sun respectively from a master and the mother, they are peeled off vertically respectively by a magnetic chuck.

CONSTITUTION: After performance of peeling film treatment to a master, in a process obtaining a mother through a master, Ni electroforming to get the mother 3 is performed so that a fixed film thickness is obtained. Magnetic chucking of the outsides each of the master 2 and mother 3 is performed with electromagnets 4, 5, in a peeling process after that. When the electromagnet 4 performing magnetic chucking should be, for example, the N pole, also the electromagnet 5 performing magnetic chucking of the mother 3 is given the N pole and the master 2 and mother 3 are peeled off vertically as it keeps the magnetic chucking. A process also obtaining the sun after getting the mother 3 is similar to the process obtaining the mother 3 through the master 2. The obtained sun 13 becomes free from missing in a form of a pit 11 and signal characteristics depending upon an optical disc reproduced through the sun 13 becomes favorable.
