Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the insulating capacity by winding a mica tape having a mica layer and a glass-chain film layer around the insulating layer of a coil to be inserted into the slot of stator of a rotary electric machine and by pouring the impregnated resin to harden it integrally.

CONSTITUTION: A glass-chain film layer 9 is provided to one side of a mica layer 1 and sandwitched between polyethyleneterephthalate films 2a and 2b, and then bonded with an epoxy binder so that a mica tape 10 of about 0.16mm in thickneth may be formed. Then a double glass winding 11 is wound in prescribed frequency to form a conductor 6. As an insulating layer a mica tape 10 is wound and inserted into the stator core slot, pouring with the epoxy resin all over to integrate and get hardened so that the film 2a may come to the side of the conductor 6 which comes into contact with a glass-chain film layer 9. Thus the desquamation of the mica layer can be prevented, and the elongation of film is so well checked that the occurrence of shrinkage is prevented enough to facilitate the impregnation of the resin. As a result, the insulating capacity can be improved.
