PURPOSE: To manufacture a synthetic resin pipe with a faucet with good working efficiency by a simplified apparatus in which the diameter of an air bag inside a synthetic resin pipe moving synchronously with the movement of the pipe is expanded and the wall of unhardened pipe is likewise expanded into the annular groove of a split outer mold being moved.
CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin pipe 6 is continuously extruded from molds 1 provided to an extruder, passed through a cooling tank 4, and moved by a takeover machine 5. And, a split outer mold 3 is covered on the pipe 6 just before a place where the pipe 6 is hardened and an air bag 22 is provided inside the pipe 6 at a place facing the mold 3. While moving the bag 22 and the mold 3 synchronously with the movement of the pipe 6, air is charged into the bag 22 to expand it in order to expand the wall of the unhardened pipe into the annular groove 31 of the mold 3. And, the pipe 6 is passed through a refriger- ant in a tank 4 and the mold pieces 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d of the mold 3 to cool and harden the pipe 6, air is drawn out of the bag 22 to shrink it, and the movement of them is stopped. And, the pipe 6 is removed from the mold 3 by opening the mold pieces 3c and 3d toward the diametrical direction.
