Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a brake disk capable of adequately securing a sliding surface of a brake pad and capable of suppressing that a manufacturing cost increases.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a brake disk 1 for forming a bracket part 2 comprising a bottomed cylindrical shape which can be attached to an axle of a vehicle and a rotor part 3 comprising a flange formed on the bottomed cylindrical shape integrally and forming a sliding surface of a brake pad on the flange includes: a thinning process S2 for thinning a center part as compared to an outer peripheral part with respect to a metallic plate like member W; and a folding process S3 for providing the bottomed cylindrical shape having a flange by performing folding along a thinned boundary with respect to the plate like member W passing through the thinning process S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
