To provide a manufacturing method for a decorative plate, in which a decorative sheet material is stuck on the surface of a composite ligneous plate obtained by compounding plywood such as planted tree plywood and a wood fiberboard, and which enables the high-productivity manufacture of the decorative plate preventing deformation such as warpage and torsion in manufacture and use and preventing the loose knot of the plywood and the trace of a hard latewood portion from being relieved on the surface.
The ligneous fiberboard with a specific gravity of 0.6-0.9 and a thickness of 0.7-4.0 mm, the water content of which is adjusted to 5-10 wt.%, and the plywood, the water content of which is adjusted to 8-14 wt.%, are superposed on each other through a hot-melt resin adhesive. This laminate is pressed by a roll press while the hot melt resin adhesive is in a molten state, so as to be formed into the composite wooden plate in which the ligneous fiberboard is integrally bonded to the surface side. The decorative sheet material is stuck on the surface of the composite wooden plate, so that the decorative plate B, which does not cause warpage, twisting and lift, can be manufactured with high productivity.
