Abstract:

To manufacture a disk optical recording medium, which is completed by forming a center hole at a final stage through processes such as film forming on a disk base material, without causing eccentricity when a drive is loaded.

A center part 26 is removed under a condition that a diameter for a chucking center hole 28 at a disk base material 12 is made larger than that at a light transparent resin layer 22 of the disk optical recording medium 30 to manufacture the disk optical recording medium 30 in the case of opening a hole of the center part 26 of the disk base material 12 being a final stage of the optical disk manufacturing process at which at least a resin layer is formed on one side.
