To provide a method for manufacturing a disk-shaped recording medium at a low cost by using a stamper member comprising a resin material, and also provide the stamper member for the method.
An energy ray-curing resin 13 is applied to the inner circumference of a first recording layer formed on a disk-shaped substrate 11, and the stamper member 14 is arranged so that its first transcription surface 15 may face the disk-shaped substrate. The energy ray-curing resin 13 is spin coated between the disk-shaped substrate and the stamper member 14, and the stamper member 14 is exfoliated while a first spacer layer 13a formed from the energy ray-curing resin by means of the radiation of the energy ray is left on the disk-shaped substrate. Then, a second recording layer is formed on the surface of the first spacer layer transcribed from the first transcription surface, and the energy ray-curing resin is applied to the inner circumference of the second recording layer, and then the stamper member after its exfoliation is arranged so that a second transcription surface 16 opposite to the first transcription surface may face the disk-shaped substrate. A third recoding layer is formed on the second recording layer in the same manner as mentioned above.
