Abstract:

To provide a fine emulsion or dispersion of a natural constituent, extracted from animals and plants with the help of a water-soluble organic solvent, kept in such a state that the qualitative deterioration of the natural constituent is extremely insignificant.

A water-soluble organic solvent solution containing the natural constituent extracted from wild animals and plants with the use of the water-soluble organic solvent and an aqueous solution, are each allowed to pass through a micro-flow path with 1 m2 to 1 mm2 sectional area of the narrowest part. After that, both organic solvent solution and aqueous solution are mixed by counter-current collision, and preferably, the water-soluble organic solvent is removed after mixing. Also, foodstuff, a skin care preparation and the pharmaceutical containing the emulsion or the dispersion obtained through the above treatment can be offered.
