To provide a manufacturing method of a light-weight foam concrete which has tobermorite with high crystallinity equivalent to conventional one and prevents occurrence of fractures and cracks during severing, cutting, and chamfering.
The manufacturing method of a light-weight foam concrete includes: foaming and semi-curing a slurry which contains a siliceous raw material mainly composed of silica rock and silica sand, a calcareous raw material, water, and a foaming agent; and steam curing the produced semi-cured material. The silica rock and the silica sand after pulverization are classified into fine particles having a particle diameter less than 10 μm, middle particles of 10 μm or more and less than 100 μm, and coarse particles more than 100 μm. The light-weight foam concrete has a content ratio of the coarse particles of 1 to 25 mass% and a mass ratio of the fine particles to the middle particles of 0.1 to 0.7.
