Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a metal mold in which a metal mold having a plurality of transfer surfaces with different optical axis positions is accurately formed by lathe turning.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal mold comprises: a first process in which an n-th side surface of a second jig 20 is brought into contact with a first reference surface 32a of a first jig 30, a (n+k)th side surface of the second jig is brought into contact with a second reference surface 33a of the first jig, and an m-th side surface 15 of a metal mold is brought into contact with a third reference surface 22a of the second jig, a (m+k)th side surface of the metal mold is brought into contact with a fourth reference surface 23a of the second jig, and a material 10 of the metal mold is fixed to a lathe by using the first jig and the second jig; a second process in which the material of the metal mold is cut by the lathe while the first jig, the second jig and the material of the metal mold are integrally rotated, and a transfer surface is formed; a third process in which another transfer surface is formed by carrying an initial value from n, changing an attaching position of the second jig to the first jig, and repeating the first process and the second process, and the above processes are repeated.
