The manufacturing method includes : a curing member attaching step for attaching a thin curing member to a self nail 1 to cover the self nail 1 with the curing member ; a resin applying step for applying an ultraviolet-curable gel synthetic resin 3 or an acrylic resin to the curing member attached to the self nail 1 ; a resin curing step for curing the ultraviolet-curable gel synthetic resin 3 or the acrylic resin ; and a peeling step for peeling the cured ultraviolet-curable gel synthetic resin 3 or acrylic resin off the self nail 1.
