Abstract:

To easily manufacture an organic EL element with white luminescence and multi-colored luminescence by repeating deposition for small number of times.

The organic EL element is arranged between an anode 2 on a substrate 1 and a cathode 8, and the first luminous layer 11 with at least two layers illuminating with different colors from each other and the second luminous layer 12 are formed by evaporating the first luminous material 1 and the second luminous material 2 respectively in laminated state. After forming the first luminous layer 11 by depositing the first luminous material and the second luminous material simultaneously with a prescribed ratio, the deposition of the first luminous material is stopped and the second luminous layer 12 is formed by depositing only the second luminous material.
