The manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent element is provided with a process in which, with the use of at least one transfer material with at least a single organic layer formed on a pressing member by a vacuum film forming method, the organic layer side is overlapped to be pressed so that the organic layer side may face an electrode side of the first substrate with its part or whole surface provided with electrodes, and then, at least one organic layer is transferred to the electrode side of the first substrate by peeling off the pressing member.
