To provide a manufacturing method of a tow prepreg which can impregnate a flat tow with a matrix resin sufficiently and uniformly, which can inhibit the fluctuations of tensile strength due to the individual difference at the time when the obtained tow prepreg is cured, and which can produce the tow prepreg excellent in the average tensile strength with a good yield.

The manufacturing method of the tow prepreg comprises the step of sufficiently and uniformly dispersing a resin and a curing agent into the tow by supplying a specific amount of a resin containing material (X) containing the resin and the curing agent through a nozzle from both sides of the continuous flat tow, or by supplying a given amount of a curing agent aqueous solution (Y) through a nozzle from the surface of the continuous flat tow and then supplying a given amount of a resin solution (Z) through a nozzle from the surface of the continuous flat tow.
