Title:
MASSAGING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005342456
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a massaging machine using both pressurized and depressurized air, which can improve the circulation of the blood in capillary vessels and enhance the massaging effect, by kneading stiff spots of a user through repeated sucking and pressing actions, while synchronizing the movements with the pulse cycle of the user, unlike conventional ones using air pressure that are inferior in massaging effect because they apply only either one of those sucking and pressing actions.

In this massaging machine, the pressurized air is supplied to a pressurized air pulse generator (6) to be pulsated. A pulse detection terminal (8) detects the pulse cycle of a user, and a pulse controller (7) controls the pressurized air pulse generator (6) so that it can synchronize with the user's pulse cycle. A pressurizing/depressurizing switch (1) switches between the pressure-applying and pressure-reducing states in a treatment giving part (2) so as to massage stiff spots and remove the stiffness through repeated sucking and pressing actions, while improving the circulation of the blood in the capillary vessels thereunder. It also uses a pressure-reducing air tank to instantly reduce the pressure in the treatment giving part.
