The measuring device includes CPU 24 which displays a value indicative of the measurement value Im on a display part 22 when the device measures the current value of an electric signal Si and when the absolute value of the measurement value Im is larger than a threshold L, and which displays a value indicative of zero when the absolute value of the measurement value Im is below the threshold L. The CPU 24 displays a complementary value of which absolute value is smaller than the absolute value of the measurement value Im displayed just before a changing of the absolute value of the measurement value Im from a value larger than the threshold L to a value smaller than the threshold L, and larger than zero on the display part 22 before displaying the value indicative of zero.
