Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a measuring instrument for alignment which enables highly- precise measurement of the alignment of a wheel. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 60a to 60c for detecting a camber are made to abut on the upper part and the lower part of the lateral side of a wheel 14a and the tilt angle of a bracket 56 to a bracket 54 is detected as a camber angle. Besides, rollers 80a and 80b for detecting a toe are made to abut on the opposite end parts in the direction of a vehicle length of the lateral side of the wheel 14a and the tilt angle of a support member 78 to a bracket 74 is detected as a toe angle.
