Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect the selective measurement of only antibodies specific to the common antigen determinants of antigens in which a plurality of subtypes such as antibodies to the common antigen determinants of HBs antigens exists.
SOLUTION: With a sample assumed to contain antibodies specific to the common antigen determinants of antigens which occur in a plurality of subtypes, the artificially formulated first antigens 7 with the above-mentioned common antigen determinants of antigens and the artificially formulated second antigens 8 which the above-mentioned common antigen determinants of antigens which occur in a plurality of subtypes and without the allelic subtype antigen determinants that the first antigens 7 have are brought into contact. The bonding of [the first antigens 7-antibodies (antibodies specific to the common antigen determinants of antigens in which a plurality of subtypes exists)-the second antigens 8] formed by the above-mentioned contact is detected.
