Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate height adjustment of dies and to prevent generation of crack in a lower pressure bearing plate by arranging a bridging member in a mechanism for adjusting the vertical position of the lower die of the pressure bearing parts of a die set.

CONSTITUTION: The bridging member 24 is arranged in the mechanism 23 for adjusting the vertical position of the lower die of the pressure bearing parts 22 of the die set. The bridging member 24 is positioned near a cylindrical body 17 and is parted from the end face 17c of this cylindrical body 17. The end 24c of the bridging member 24 is held pressed to an outer side face 11c of the lower pressure bearing plate 11. The lower pressure bearing plate 11 is horizontally moved toward the head part 18b of a hexagonal socket head bolt 18 in order to lower the lower first die 5. The lower pressure bearing plate 11 is moved toward a strut 10 in order to heighten the lower first die 5. The force to move the lower pressure bearing plate 11 is received by the bridging member 24. The cylindrical body 17 does not receive compressive force as its end face 17c is parted from the bridging member 24c and is not restrained. Then, the generation of the crack in the lower pressure bearing plate 11 does not arise.
