This medical information management system has: a plurality of examination devices 10a, 10b, etc.; a first medical terminal 40a for transmitting an examination request signal to the plurality of examination devices, selecting one from the plurality of examination devices responding to the examination request signal, setting a recording area and the medical terminal having to record information related to an examination result, and transmitting information related to the set recording area and medical terminal to the selected examination device; and a second medical terminal 40b for receiving the information related to the examination result from the selected examination device when set as the medical terminal having to record the information related to the examination result, recording the information into the set recording area, and closing the set recording area.
