To securely hold a flash discharge tube and insulate a terminal part in a stroboscope device.
A reflector 3 and a rod-shaped flash discharge tube 4 are housed in a case 2 that opens at its front surface. Terminal parts 41 of the flash discharge tube 4 extending from both ends of the case are fitted into holes 53 provided at both ends of a rubber member 5 passing through the outer side of the case, and the flash discharge tube 4 is fixed by tension of the rubber member 5. Arm pieces 54 extending from the vicinities of both ends of the rubber member 5 are folded, and washer parts 55 located at respective tips of the arm pieces 54 are tightly fitted to the terminal parts 41. A conductive line is soldered to the terminal parts 41, 41a at a position located outside of the washer parts 55. The washer parts 55 are not affected by the tension of the rubber member 5. Therefore, there is no possibility that a gap may develop between the holes of the washer parts 55 and the terminal parts 41 to impair the leakage-preventing and insulating functions.
