To provide a memorial garment which can be easily put on a dead body with the hands clasped in prayer without passing the arms of the dead body through sleeves and traditional appearance of which is not spoiled.

The memorial garment includes: a buddhist garment backside part comprising a back body part bilaterally-symmetric centering its backbone line, a left back sleeve and a right back sleeve joined with each other at the right and left arm hole parts of the back body part; a left front sleeve and a right front sleeve joined with each other at the arm parts of the left back sleeve and the right back sleeve respectively; a left front body part joined to the back body part at its left shoulder part and having a fixed part at at least its underarm part or its bottom lower part; and a right front body part joined to the back body part at its left shoulder part and having a fixed part at at least the sleeve lower part or the bottom lower part: wherein the left front body part and the right front body part are folded back forward centering the left shoulder part and the right shoulder part of the back body part respectively, and the left front body part and the right front body part have an overlapping part on the backbone line.
